OUR VISION

Hunger for Something Great

The world of education is large and complex, so we communicate what One Giant Leap is in the simplest of terms: food.  Most education is produced and administered the way a nutritionist approaches eating: prescribed amounts of nutrients from defined food groups - balanced, measured, dispassionately delivered, and often accompanied by dire warnings.

Then there are the chefs. They approach eating with creativity, vision, surprise, and even storytelling. The quality of the whole experience puts the diner front and center. Taste, texture, color, ambience, service - it all matters and has to fit. And, importantly, chefs apply the science of nutrition to their creations. (It's just hidden behind all the awesome stuff.)

There's a universe of difference between a nutritionist and a chef, yes? Think of One Giant Leap as your "educational chef":

  • Deeply serious about our work, yet playful

  • Both fortifying and inspiring

  • Obsessed (in a good way!) with creating healthy, energized             minds.

  • Invoking passion and care

  • Catalyzing action for the benefit of the planet

When we succeed we transform lives. And when success looks like that, who needs dessert?

What We Do

At One Giant Leap, we believe in learning that is exciting, organic, and intrinsically interesting. Such learning can change how we see the planet, our community, and even ourselves.

It is a learning that is all too rare, but it doesn’t have to be…

with insight, expertise, and imagination, it can be designed and built.

That's what we do.
